Our Property

PATUÁ is a unique family-run boutique farmhouse, surrounded by a one-hectare vineyard and crowned by two traditional windmills.

Owned by the same family for five generations, PATUÁ’s story began anew in 2022, when Joana Guerreiro inherited the wine estate from her father.

Inspired to return to her roots in the Algarve, she set out to breathe new life into the property by renovating her great-great-grandparents’ houses, now transformed into guest accommodation.

Inspired by rustic Mediterranean farmhouses, PATUÁ features 14 rooms, including two restored windmills with vineyard views. Drawing on travels through some of the world’s most iconic wine regions, the farmhouse embraces a distinctive, exclusive approach to hospitality.

Located in São Bartolomeu de Messines, in the heart of the Algarve, PATUÁ is perfectly placed for exploring the region’s golden-sand beaches, charming towns, and countryside.
